A Law Firm that Works for You

Matthew Pinix
I founded my own Wisconsin firm in 2008. Through it, I focus exclusively on criminal defense. My practice involves almost exclusively appellate representation, but I also have experience with trial-level advocacy in both felony and misdemeanor cases. A representative list of the types of cases that I have handled can be found here.
I understand that the costs and fees associated with legal representation are an increasing burden. For those reasons, I am willing to work with potential clients to arrive at a mutually favorable fee arrangement. On certain cases, I will negotiate flat fees, payment plans, or other alternatives to ensure that a client in need is not a client in need of a good lawyer. I also take credit card payments, which is a good way for those who do not have immediate access to the necessary funds to finance the costs associated with legal representation.
A graduate of Marquette University Law School, I founded the firm after returning to Milwaukee. Prior to that, I lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico where I worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at the New Mexico Supreme Court. I have received a "Very Good" rating from Avvo.com, an online company that helps people make the best decisions for their important legal needs. More detailed information about my professional background can be found by following the links to third-party directories found here.
I have worked both sides of the aisle doing criminal litigation. Also, I have studied criminal law extensively and continue to do so with the purpose of staying ahead of my opponents.
